I recently learned how to play poker. I don’t know what took me so long, but maybe it was another one of those intimidating things that I didn’t want to take the time to learn and get frustrated with the curve of sucking at first and losing money.

Some buddies of mine taught me how to play (with fake money which is way better) and I ended up schooling all of them. They were dumbfounded with my natural skill. I guess I had a good poker face. They could never read me, and that was my favorite part about it. We ended up staying up until 4 a.m. when I finally decided to call it, because I was losing my concentration due to lack of sleep. All I know is that what kept inspiring me and kept me motivated to win was Lady Gaga’s song “Poker Face” playing over and over in my head. I may even buy a poker set from www.pokerchips.com and start my own poker night parties.
