The First Annual Pumpkin Flavored Goodies Awards

The fall season means a lot of things to me, but one of the best things about this time of year is the influx of pumpkin flavored goodies. The scent, the taste; it not only feels like fall, it smells like it too (just wait until peppermint season). Over the years I have deemed myself quite the pumpkin spice connoisseur. Here are the best in pumpkin flavored and scented goodies honored by me: Miss Pumpkin Spice 2011 (wouldn’t that be amazing!)

Raw and pumpkin infused beauty and food products also have many health benefits. Not so much a pumpkin spice latte obviously, but pumpkin muffins and chili as well as face masks (the fruit acid and vitamin A will do wonders for you skin) and lotions. Pumpkin is a great source of beta cartone

Try one or all of these insanely scrumptious treats for yourself and get into the fall spirit.

Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Spice Coffee

Dunkin Donuts does it right with their seasonal pumpkin spice coffee available at Target, grocery stores and Dunkin’ locations. For around $7.99 for an 11 ounce bag you’ll experience a great pumpkin spice flavored brew without the calories and syrup that come in those creamers. Wake up and smell the coffee!

Clif Bar Spiced Pumpkin Pie

Switch up from your regular Clif Bar flavor and try the yummy spiced pumpkin pie. This healthy treat is perfect for post workouts or a mid-day snack on the hill. It’s better than pumpkin pie!

Nature’s Path Pumpkin Flax Seed Granola

I love granola with greek yogurt with cinnamon sprinkled on top. I first tried Nature’s Path Pumpkin Spice Flax Seed Granola Bars and they were delicious. On a recent Costco run I saw a big box of granola. So good and such a good snack. The crunch and flavor is just right.

Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte

This is an obvious one. I wait all year to get my hands back on a cup of this baby. If you’re one looking to cut back on all those cals and sugar though, opt for non-fat milk, two pumps (instead of the regular four) and no whip. Delectable.

Bath and Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Body Spray

Not only do I love eating pumpkin spice, I love smelling like it. Bath and Body Works has had me hooked since high school when I just couldn’t get enough of raspberry (my signature scent). The pumpkin spray always reminds me of this time of year and smells absolutely incredible. I think they tried to discontinue it at one point and too many complaints made the store bring it back. Get it before it’s gone!

Chesapeake Bay Pumpkin Pie Candle

Chesapeake Bay makes long-lasting candles full of scent. The pumpkin pie edition is a favorite. Don’t feel like baking for hours and making a mess in order for your home to smell like pumpkin pie, here’s your answer. Light it up.

Shipyard Pumpkin Head

You know I had to throw some alcohol in there right? Ha. There are quite a few pumpkin ale’s out this time of year, but one of my personal favorites is Shipyard’s Pumpkin Head. Not only is the packaging frickin’ awesome (the reason I tried it in the first place), the taste is by far one the best-tasting flavored beers I’ve ever tried. If you can find it I advise you stock up.

  1. I love Starbucks Pumpkin Spice lattes! Red Cup day is quickly upon us :) Have you tried Pumpkin Spice Chai or Pumpkin Cheesecake? Both so good!
